This consolidates the Astra handoff work into one reviewed change set. It completes the reliability, security, provider, session, tool, UI, MCP, and build-path fixes while keeping VERSION at the required 0.5.1 release level.

Validation:

• make gen
• make build
• make test — 1692 passed, 0 failed, 0 skipped
• binary startup smoke test passed
