Summary

  • tolerate oversized Codex metadata SSE frames while preserving fatal errors for content/tool frames
  • report parser failures separately from event-handler failures
  • resolve stale absolute MCP command paths through PATH when the configured file moved hosts
  • bump version to 0.6.5

Verification

  • make binary on macOS
  • make test-codex — 29 auth tests and 13 provider tests passed
  • gmake binary on FreeBSD amd64 biggus
  • FreeBSD smoke test: jcode --no-tui -p hi returned Hi! What can I help you with?
  • repaired and verified the biggus MCP config; no llm-search or Codex SSE errors
