• retry transient directory enumeration failures during local sync scans
• preserve the original error after the bounded retry budget is exhausted
• add retry regression coverage and document the behavior
• bump VERSION to 2.0.6

Verification

• make test
• jerboa_verify on changed Scheme files
• jerboa_security_scan (changed lines)
• make binary
• make binary-smoke
