Implements the full docs/improve-kimi3.md improvement set in one PR.

Highlights:

Fixes Qt input/event handling gaps: C-g minibuffer cancellation, async automation dispatch, guarded key handlers, callback drop accounting, input method preservation, mouse/context/drop handling, clipboard coverage, and middle-click tab close.
Reduces per-key and large-buffer work: avoids full Scintilla text fetches in hot paths, coalesces redraws, applies visible-range org highlighting, adds so-long Scintilla layout caching, and uses event-backed file watching when available.
Closes editor behavior gaps: Helm occur jumps, real scroll/recenter behavior, line-number margin toggles, snippet undo preservation, run-with-timer, prompt-scoped minibuffer history, LSP write failure/timeout/restart/multi-server handling, async auto-save snapshots, multiple cursor coverage, command-stub audit inventory, and frame/modeline/tabbar fixes.
Adds CI and smoke coverage: live TUI PTY e2e, Qt startup/key-cost smoke, screenshot golden smoke, behavioral Qt window-tree validation, expanded Qt part2 coverage, and Linux Qt workflows for master/tag/manual runs. Linux Qt jobs were moved out of PR-triggered required-ci because this Forgejo version leaves skipped/waiting Linux job contexts pending on PRs. FreeBSD PR CI now runs the required verification subset instead of the full release-evidence make verify path.
Bumps VERSION to 0.1.7.
